In Kupwara’s Kralpora, an elderly woman is among two who drown.

Kupwara, July 22: A 55-year-old woman was one of two people who drowned on Thursday afternoon in the Karlapora area of Morth Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

Two people, including an elderly woman and a 26-year-old youngster, were transported to Community Health Center (CHC) Kralpora this afternoon, according to official sources.

They recognised the pair as Subi Begum, wife of Rashanpora’s Mohammad Syed Awan, and Manzoor Ahmad Reshi, son of Khanbal’s Mohammad Yaqoob.

They claimed the couple drowned and died while crossing Kehmil Nallah over a wooden plank.
