Jammu and Kashmir Police Involvement of Kathua District Special Police Officers (SPOs) within 0-10 kms. (IB / LOC /ALC / AGPL) Border. Ref:-PHQ J&K order No. GB/M-32/2016/3426-27 dated 18/01/2021 issued under endstt.
Candidates from the District of Kathua residing within 0-10 Kms of the Border (IB/LOC/ALC/AGPL) are invited to apply for border certificates issued by the competent authority concerned for their engagement as Special Police Officers (SPOs) in the J&K Police against the monthly fee as admissible under the Government Policy for such engagement against the 89 positions of SPOs in the Border Police.

(ii) Applications along with qualification/allied certificates, including domicile certificates showing residence within 0-10 kms, as per enclosed proforma. DISTRICT POLICE OFFICE KATHUA and SDPO Office Chadwal w.e.f 27/01/2021 are to be submitted by the International Border (IB/LOC/ALC/AGPL) issued by the Revenue Authority concerned (WITHOUT ANY FEES) from 1000 hours to 1600 hours (except Sunday/Holiday) and the last date for submission of the application form is 05/02/2021.
(iii) The request form should be followed by self-attested copies of the following form.
D.O.B Certificate Certificate (Matriculation certificate)
Certificates for Academic Qualification. Certificate of Domicile.
Duly issued border region certificates by the competent government authority.
04 copies of recent coloured images in Passport size.
(iv) It is recommended that the applicants bring with them the original documentation for verification at the time of submission of the application forms.
(a) In-complete application forms shall not be entertained in any way or in any way that they are not duly completed.
(b) The commitment shall be on a temporary/provisional basis only and there shall be no claim for permanent absorption/continuous commitment.
(c) The competent authority shall reserve the right at any time to terminate the engagement without notice/assignment of the cause of the disengagement.
D) In any portion of the J&K UT, facilities can be used to fulfil evolving requirements in any wing of the J&K Police.
(e) In the case of applicants securing the same merit during the recruitment process, the candidate of a higher age shall be deemed to have been chosen.
