Central Kashmir Missing Youth joins Militant ranks
Srinagar, Jan 04: A missing youth from the Srinagar district of central Kashmir is confirmed to have entered militant ranks.
A young boy, identified as Bilal Manzoor Bhat Son of Manzoor Ahmad, along with another friend Irfan Ah Sofi, son of Nazir Ah Sofi, both residents of the Natipora area of Srinagar, went missing on Dec 14 2020, the day when a PSO of a PDP leader at Natipora was shot dead by militants, according to the news agency (KDC).
Missing reports were lodged at the Chanapora Police Post after his disappearance, according to his relatives.
On Monday afternoon, an audio message purportedly of Bilal went viral on social media, which announced his joining into miltant ranks.
Bilal Manzoor can be heard telling his parents in the audio message, “Not to search for him as he has chosen Allah’s way and is safe.”
Meanwhile, a police official said they were checking the audio’s authenticity.
Pertinently, the video of Saqib also went viral on social media, which last month had also declared his entry into militant ranks. (The KDC)
